Performance Information

Currently due to the age of our children and size of our school we have no published national date for KS1 or KS2. The data below tells you how well our children did against the national standards.

Children in Reception should achieve a Good Level of Development (GLD) against the Early Years framework. GLD is defined as children working at, or exceeding, the expected standard in the key areas of Literacy, Maths, Physical development, Communication & language and Personal, Social & emotional development.

National GLD 2018: 71%

Somerdale GLD 2018: 75%

Year One Phonics Screening

The phonics screening check is a short, assessment to confirm whether individual children have learnt phonic decoding to an appropriate standard. Children are tested in Year 1. Those children that may not reach the standard are retested in Year 2.

National 2018: 81.9%

Somerdale 2018: 83%
